Complete set of The Authority volume 1. Issues #1 through #29 and Annual 2000 along with Stormwatch issues #37 through #50 and Stormwatch volume 2 issues #1 through #11. The complete Stormwatch/Authority saga by Warren Ellis. 55 issues in total. Warren Ellis took over writing duties on Stormwatch with issue #37 and modified and developed the book and team until it became The Authority. Mark Millar took over writing duties on The Authority with issue #13, completing the first Authority series with issue #29. Tom Peyer handled writing duties for issues #23 through #26 and Joe Casey for Annual 2000. These issues are from my personal collection and one of my favorite series ever. I purchased The Authority issues as they were released and went back and tracked down the Stormwatch issues that preceded them. It took a few years to complete the set and some of the Stormwatch issues are very difficult to find. Artists that worked on these issues and covers include Bryan Hitch (the seminal Authority/Warren Ellis Stormwatch artist), Frank Quitely, Jim Lee, Chris Weston, John McCrea, Dustin Nguyen, Arthur Adams, Trevor Erskine, Cully Hamner, Tom Raney, Oscar Jimenez and more. Issues will ship bagged, boarded and safely packaged. See my response! Issues will ship for free via USPS PRIORITY MAIL. I purchase on also and try to keep shipping costs as low as possible while ensuring the books are packaged safely and arrive as quickly as possible. I have collected comics for more than 35 years and worked weekends at a local shop for a few years, often packaging, sending and receiving books from CGC. I am a fair and knowledgeable grader but have been warned by long time comic shop owners and collectors to not attach grades to my items because it is sure to ensue in debates about condition and haggling over discounts/partial refunds. Please take a look at the photos and if you wish to know my assessment of the actual grade, with a description of any and all potential flaws I can find with the issue, please contact me and I will respond as quickly as I can. I am not going to grade every single issue here but if you have a few you want detailed grades on, I will pull them and send you detailed info on them. It is still a subjective matter and I will not be issuing partial refunds over grading disagreements. I will absolutely stand by any grade I’ve given you though, and if you’re not happy, I will issue a full refund of the purchase price plus original shipping costs upon return of the item.
