This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. Description

Stories and art by George Evans and John Martin. Sweethearts was the first monthly romance title. Wealthy Ellen is in danger of losing her soldier beau Steve when he learns that she made her fortune on the black market during the war, in a story with art by EC legend George Evans. Actress Selma plans an attempt to swim the English Channel, but she risks losing handsome Mike when he learns it\'s a publicity stunt and she never intended to finish. Bookish Ann intends to spend her year in France studying, but the City of Lights has a way of bringing romance to the fore. Plus a vintage entry form for the \"Ideal Man\" story contest.
