Super Rare Miniature Rosenthal Cat On Plinth No. 58 Vintage:

Rarely seen in this beautiful Rosenthal porcelain cat that has the Selb mark produced between 1921 - 1938. It measures 4 inches long by 2 inches tall and has the number 58 impressed into the base. The oval base is painted a bronze color with darker accents added on the sides and under the cat’s feet. There are no cracks or crazing but looking with a loop reveals a minute nick to the tip of right ear and a pin prick to the left ear. These cannot be seen with the naked eye and the ears look perfect but I can feel a little sharpness on one so looked with loop believe me they are miniscule. The pin prick was probably done in the firing process when made. Nevertheless a super rare and lovely example of hard paste porcelain at its finest. Free USA shipping
