This set is made from real Silver Morgan dollar coins and a king George copper crown . I made this set with an extra George coin and trimmed it down to fit the shell . Most gaff makers add a washer in shell to make up room for the insert . I added extra Teflon to make up the height for the insert to show as close to a regular coin when looking at it tails side up . . You shouldn’t have to replace the Teflon for a long time if ever but if you have to then you will understand the extra layers to create height for insert level . All in all it’s an awesome set .
