Offering a stunning pair of 19th C. Porcelain Oil Lamps converted to electricty. French, possibly Russian.

Exquisitely hand painted. Delicate floral bouquets and garland swags. Very handsome Greek/Roman profiles take center stage on the lamps. They are silhouetted against a richly detailed and patterned gold (refer to photos). The faces are a dramatic teal, framed by enamelled raised \"dots\".

Mounted on decorative ormolu bases detailed with shell pattern. Elegantly elevated on paw feet.

In very good antique condition. Minor wear commensurate with age. No cracks or chips. Colors are bright and vivid. Finish is lustrous. Lamps work.

Measurements for one (approximate): 27\" tall (base to top of finial) and 6\" across at the widest.

These lamps are works of art. Elegant and refined!!
