What a lovely little find.

Very unique and I would say quite rare Stratton Powder Compact.

I have been unable to find any information of this particular style by Stratton and have searched through my books and paperwork.

I would say c1940\'s Could be Pre-War or Just Post War.

Covered in a Green Mock Crock leather. Brass frame with Stratton \"Made in England\" to the bezel.

What I love is the puff is also Mock croc but instead of being sold fluffy fabric is a Chamois type.

Suitable for loose powder but could fit a pan with a dia of 7.5cm.

overall size is 9cm

Condition overall for age is nice. There is some rub to the green which shows the base colour.

Exterior clasp good and hinge moves freely. Some freckles to the mirror.
