The same wonderful writer/artist team from HtD, STEVE GERBER and Gene Colan/Tom Palmer, is here in all of it satirical glory, wittily trashing the society that embraced disco, self-help/pop psychology, hedonism, and egocentrism!
Marvel fires Gerber, Gerber creates Stewart, a genetically engineered human/rat embryo, Gerber tries to find an artist, to no avail (Ploog, Sutton, Meugniot were unavailable), so they go for Marvel\'s Gene Coloan AND Tom Palmer and, surprisingly, Jim Shooter lets them do the art! This is fun, twisted, bizarre stuff that only Gerber could create.
It is also a very rare graphic novel and any fan of Gerber, Colan/Palmer, and brilliant satire ought to own, read (and re-read) it.
Darn close to over NM- or Brand New except for some very, very minor signs of handling. Mostly solid black cover is real nice, colors for the front cover are vivid, binding & edges are tight, paper and printing and art reproduction is fantastic. For those oh-so-slight blemishes, look carefully at the provided scans of the book you will soon buy/own - NO STOCK PHOTOS!
