This collectible State Fair of Texas pin is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This pin was part of a collection and has been well taken care of for it\'s decades long age. The front features a red background with a gold key with writing State Fair of Texas Opening Day Oct. 9th 1948. It is still easy to read and is still pretty vibrant. The back portion is hallmarked though we have a hard time reading the pressed imprint. This pin measures approximately 1 & 1/2\" long x 5/8\" wide. It closes and locks with a simple C clasp. Conditional issues are the back side of the pin has tarnish, discoloration, scratching and surface abrasions. The front shows light surface scratching and rubbing in some areas. This is a fun item from the past and true vintage at that. Best of all, it shows a little bit of Texas history for the avid collector. Please note this item ships boxed to avoid any shipping carrier damages. We do not use bags for shipping jewelry items.
