Let me explain how rare these original stocks are, the Last one I listed (looked just like this...) was bought by the Mob Museum of Las Vegas , Nevada !!! it\'s going to be on display there.
These were / are documents of investment, no one keeps them forever. you turn them back in collect your $$$ and these get Destroyed.Framed Original Stock certificate for Stardust hotel and casino , Las Vegas Nevada. of 1954 !! NOT A COLOR PHOTOCOPY LIKE THE OTHER SELLER !!.
Frame measures 18 inch X 14 inch wide. front is plastic ,not glass.stock of 28 may 1954 for 125 shares. serial number 3878.
also in this frame ; 1 original postcard, 1 original matchbook cover, 1 original swizzle stick ,& 1 fake $5.00 casino chip with the open & close dates on it.signed in ink (twice) by John Marks.
The stock owner was Miss Anabel S. Parks. I got 4 of these from her ex daughter in law. Her & her husband had money & lived in California. He invested $$ into many things. So he told her to do the same , Maybe property. So she invested in Las Vegas casinos.
long after she passed away the daughter in law found them in a box ,also long after the casino closed up. Why she never turned them back in = no clue.
I framed all 4 in the same manner. the oldest dated one I kept for my casino collection. 1 sold to the Mob Museum. This one listed now. last 1 will be listed after this one sells, and will be at a Higher price.
This stock helped build the casino which opened almost 4 years later.look up this casino on the internet to see the horror stories related to getting this casino hotel built.
this casino was the later hang out of the mob members in the late 1960\'s / early 1970\'s. and 1 of the favorites of the locals to go to.
This price is real fair. ones from the 1980\'s or newer get listed around $1,000.00 for Any casino.
