Star Wars TD Sandtrooper (Dirty Stormtrooper) Costume Armor Set w/ Accessories:

Owned by a former 501st Legion member, this nearly-complete Sandtrooper (TD) armor set includes all plastic pieces plus several accessories, configured for efficient suit-up and suit-down after years of trooping events. All pieces will require some refurbishing as the set has been in storage for many years.

Helmet with blacked-out interior and electronics. Radio Shack mic amplifier board connected to mini-speakers hidden in front tusks powered by 9v battery. Cooling fans pulled from old desktop PCs and also powered by 9v w/ Radio Shack components. Note: due to extended time in storage, electronics will likely need a diagnosis and overhaul.
Flat tinted lenses, eyebrows and tear drops as decals in recesses in crown and face plate. Tube stripes need replacement or removal, depending on personal choice.
Upper body: chest and back connected with canvas-like fabric covering ABS strips for strength and stability, all connected with velcro. Shoulder & upper arm pieces connected with elastic straps & snap buttons so whole upper body can be worn like a shirt.
Forearm gauntlets with velcro closure and adhesive padding on the interior for custom fit.
Left & right thighs with velcro closure and garter bands with loops to fit over a dress belt that\'s meant to be worn under the ab plates to keep the thigh pieces in place.
Shin guards with diamond knee plate and velcro closure in back.
Hand plates with elastic loops to fit over hand (black gloves not included).
Plastic belt with velcro attachment to secure to ab plate. Strong enough to hold holster with blaster during events (see below for blaster details, holster not included).
Ab and back plates. Ab plate has flat belly detail (as opposed to grey & blue button style plate of clean TK/Stormtroopers). Back piece is separated between low back and butt. Elastic straps to be used like suspenders.
US size 9D boots.
Black and orange shoulder pauldrons.
Fabric velcro closure ribbed neck seal.
Fabric ammo pouches, one for shoulder and one for belt.
Modified Hasbro E-11 toy blaster, painted black and with custom resin-cast magazine attached.

If you are buying planning on applying to the 501st Legion, please note that Legion standards for Sandtroopers (TD) and all costumes in general evolve over time. While this costume set was more than adequate for the time period in which the original owner was a member of the 501st, that is not a guarantee that it will be accepted today without any adjustments or modifications. Please contact the 501st or your local club chapter for assistance as well as any other parts or modifications required to complete the set for compliance.
This costume fit a male wearer of approximately 5\'8\" or less and average body size (150 - 170 lbs).
Weathering was applied with acrylic paints.
Lineage: one of the last armor pulls by CAP before the molds were sold to ATA. Despite the material being styrene instead of ABS, it has been sturdy enough to withstand countless trooping events over many years.
No environmental pack (TD backpack) included.
Sold as a complete set only. Will not be parted out.
