This is a FULL-SIZE, pre-finished diorama of everyone's favorite parasitic mama organism, the Ceti Eel!

*THIS* IS CETI-ALPHA FIVE!!! (oooh...chills...)I recently obtained a number of ORIGINAL PRODUCTION CASTINGS from various TV and Movie properties. I will be producing a VERY limited run of each of these and selling them in a few places. This is the premiere piece!
Once this very-limited run is completed, THEY WILL NOT BE OFFERED AGAIN!So, snag one while you can!!
This replica is COMPLETELY FINISHED and ready to display. The casting is a FIRST GENERATION pull off an original, screen-used master pattern! I verified the provenance and vetted the source carefully, so I know this is the real deal.
Please note that each replica is hand-painted in our PA shop, so there will be SOME MINOR variation in the final finish/colors, but not much...
This is probably bigger that you might have thought. She measures in at 10 3/4 inches long by about 4 1/2 inches wide. I always assumed the original was smaller. Nope.She is a big girl!
The eyes and mouth are done in colored translucent epoxy and we have even added clear acrylic "goo" to the lobes where the larvae were removed. So this matches the screen-used filming model EXACTLY!!! How cool is THAT??!!
I have seen many other replicas, but NEVER one that I thought was good-enough to purchase for myself. Usually, they are undersized or misshapen 3D prints that just don't look right. BOOOO.
NOW, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE to own a PERFECT direct-pull off an original casting of this nasty critter as seen in the Star Trek TWOK movie!
These are cast in $135/gallon Smooth-on 305 resin. It is incredibly strong (4000 psi compressive strength) and has VERY little shrinkage. You could literally chuck this thing across the room and it won't break (but don't do that...it will void the already, non-existent warranty even further.)
So NO cheap filament/ PLA junk here! This is designed to last a lifetime!
This sale includes an anodized metal display frame, one Ceti Eel mama casting, and one bag of patented "Ceti sand". Just dump the pre-measured bag into the frame, snuggle the casting into place and enjoy!
(You can add some "Ceti rocks" if you wish...these are NOT included.)
Note: This is only a resin casting. It is NOT a real creature. It will not hiss, nor snap at you if you grab it with salad tongs.
It will NOT lay eggs in your ears while you are sleeping. So no worries there. Phew!
