Our chainmail gorget/standard is a perfect fit for your throat when you’re wearing full plate armour, making it an ideal fit for a knightly character or frontline warrior. It can be worn over your cuirass or under it.

This chain collar is a great finish for all costumes, where the spectator should see a closed chainmail on the collar and your neck being covered with a nice finish.
The 9 mm rings are woven in the classic European 4-in-1 pattern and are sewn onto a piece of soft leather.

The Three buckles straps in the back allow an individual adjustment to the wearers neck.

it is an ULTRA-LIGHT piece of chainmail armour. The light mail looks like real armour but without the heavyweight of real chainmail. That’s why it is especially popular in LARP, ren fair and in MOVIE PROP and THEATRE COSTUME.

A bishop\'s mantle is a chain mail collar covering the neck, the shoulders and the upper part of the chest and back. It wasparticularly favoured by the German Landknechte (mercenary soldiers) in the 15th and 16th centuries and is wovensimilarly to a mail coif. The shape of this piece of chain armour explains its name, as it greatly resembled the very wide-cut collar of a bishop\'s mantle. The bishop\'s mantles made by Ulfberth are modeled on historical examples. They feature a jagged edge. A riveted leather linerprotects the area around the neck and the neckline is adjustable by means of straps and genuine buckles.
