I purchased this Spyderco Urban in 2009 as an \"extra\" for my collection. I just love the wharncliffe blade and safety orange G10 scales. This is a NEW knife, sold without a box. It has never been carried or sharpened and has been kept in a Spyderco knife case the past 15 years. This model of the Urban was discontinued long ago, and it has been getting harder and harder to find every year. Pick up this pristine knife for your collection!

Description: The Urban Slipits feature G-10 handles:C127GPOR Urban Wharncliffe Blade with safety orange G-10 handle and C127FG Urban Leaf-shaped Blade with Foliage Green G-10 handle. Both have screw together handle construction for adjusting and cleaning and feature a left/right-hand tip up silhouette wire pocket clip. Their blades are flat-ground VG-10 available PlainEdged with slip-resistant jimping at the blade spine and along the finger-choil. Slipit blades are safely held open by a notched or slip-joint located at the knife\'s pivot. Closing the blade, the notch produces resistance functionally similar to traditional slip-joint penknives. Heightening control and safety, a deep finger choil positions the index finger behind the blade directly under the thumb. This allows choking up nearer the cutting edge with comfort and dexterity. Positioning the index finger in the choil additionally keeps the blade from closing while cutting. Blade Length: 2 9/16″
