This listing features a unique pairing of collectible items related to the Spanish-American War of 1898. The listing includes a print of the USS Maine and an original newspaper in which the front page covers the sinking of the ship in Havana Harbor. The print is in good condition and the newspaper is in fair (-) condition considering the age. The combination of the 2 pieces would make a great addition to any militaria collection.
I tried to take good photos of the frames for both items. The one for the newspaper is homemade by me, it\'s nothing special and you\'d probably want to get it framed properly. The frame for the print is quite old, it came with the print when I purchased it many years ago at an antique store in Maine. It has a number of chips & dings in it, but I kept the print in the frame as I thought it had a nice look to it.
