This Soviet Union, Russian, USSR Enlisted Sailor's work/deck uniform is a unique piece of history from the Cold War era. Made in the Russian Federation, this original uniform is perfect for collectors of militaria and those interested in Soviet Union memorabilia. The uniform is designed as a work/deck uniform for enlisted sailors and is NOS. The uniform is perfect for display or as a conversation piece and is sure to be a great addition to any collection. The size is a 58-4, which is a good LARGE size. Manufacture date is either 1981 or 1991. Very hard to distinguish. You will receive the top, button flap trousers, and a middy blue & white stripped collar. The collar is too short for this large sized shirt, which is puzzling. All 3 pieces were purchased as a set. You will have to remove the two button inside of the shirt. They will need to be repositioned outside along the collar if the middy collar is to be worn. I have seen photographs of sailors with and without the middy collar. The uniform is authentic and original, making it a rare find for collectors. The larger is is also an additional bonus. Additional info: These "work" uniforms are just that. They were not for dress, walking out, or parades. They were mass produced by the 1000's. In this set, dye imperfections that look like lint can be seen. They're not really noticeable, but I want to point them out anyway. It is NORMAL due to the manufacturing process. This uniform is NOS and was never used.
