Thisis GUARANTEED ORIGINAL Soviet-made decoration made in 1970 at the USSR Mint,not a replica!

Medallionis in brass, 32 mm in diameter.

Unlike the labor issue of the Lenin Centenary Medal,this medal has inscription “For Military Valor” at the top of the reverse. Itwas issued exclusively to active duty officers of all branches of the Soviet military and KGB. Reserveand retired military officers, even high-ranking WW2 veterans could receiveonly a labor version of this award. Therefore the military issue is far less common than the labor version of thisaward.

The medal is in Very Good condition! Shows some lightwear and occasional blemishes but no serious damage of any kind. All detailsare nicely defined. The original maker marked suspension is complete withfunctioning pin. The ribbon shows age but no stains or tears.
