Jim Lee is a Korean-American world-renowned comic book artist who burst onto the scene in the early 90’s with his highly-detailed, dynamic art style. His time at Marvel included illustrating Alpha Flight, Punisher: War Journal, and some of the best Uncanny X-Men issues with writer Chris Claremont. Jim Lee’s X-Men #1 (1991) is still the most sold comic book of all time (over 8 million copies). In 1992, Jim Lee was one of the founding members of Image Comics (along with Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, and others). He founded Wildstorm Productions and created titles such as WildC.A.T.S. and Gen13.Lee would later leave Marvel and Image to work at DC where he would help create some of the most popular DC titles, including All-Star Batman & Robin, Batman: Hush, and DC’s Infinite Crisis and New 52 Justice League. Jim Lee is currently the President of DC Comics, an all-around nice guy, and still one of the most respected artists in the industry.
