For your consideration: a sixth plate daguerreotype of a young woman, elegantly dressed, taken by Collins at 3rd & Chestnut St. (Philadelphia I believe) and housed in half a case. This image is holographic in hand, and the plate itself is nearly flawless. The scratches seen overlying her face are in the cover glass only, which I can guarantee. I took some cell phone pictures to help show how untouched the image surface is. Original seals are intact.
