Here’s a brilliant rough Shattuckite specimen with Dioptase and much more; which displays stunning blue tones and botroiydal formations on one side, with the opposite side mostly showing a layer of included “blue” Quartz crystals!!

This is rare high quality Shattuckite from the Tantara Mine, DR of Congo. The Shattuckite is solid and takes a very nice polish, so this particular piece could certainly go either way. It’s an incredible collectible specimen, but with those rich blues it would definitely cut some gorgeous cabochons if desired. Botroiydal Shattuckite often has a unique chatoyancy found in parts of the stone too!
