Set of Six Sake Cups Ceramic, Made in Japan.
Elegant sake cups of very interesting, refined color, - something between sage/olive/moss. Cups\' design also attracts attention, - spiral pattern with transition of darker hue to lighter. Cylindrical part has slightly wavy relief.
Cup diameter is 3 inches; total height is 2-5/8 inches. Cup stands on round rim of 1-5/8 inch diameter and about 1/4 inch high. Cups\' surface has quite visible craquelures.
My assertion about \"Handmade\" is based on visual evaluation of cups: there are noticeable differences of shapes (diameters, heights, colors) inherent to handmade items, - in contrast to standardized items of mass production. Such imperfections look quite charming, attractive, one-of-a kind.
Cups are packed to original black box with cardboard dividers for better protection. Box has white label on the top/cover with hieroglyphs (sorry, I do not know Japanese). Also there is label on one side - \"Made in Japan\".
Cups are new, never used. Box has some visible wear from storage: minor staining on white cover\'s label and defect on one box\'s side, - probably another label or like has been stripped off not very carefully. Mentioned flaws are shown on pictures.
