This listing is for a set of 4 Fabulous European antique glassbuttons. These are gorgeous jet black buttons that have a dome shaped center with a lacy hand painted edge. They are not washable. They measure 1/2 inch across and are self shank buttons. They have been removed from the original card and sewn to a reproduced trade card from the same era. These have never been used or been in circulation before.They were manufactured for sale in theearly 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member of the original business owners in Europe that had them in storage since WW11.These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored since the 1920’s so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
