Get ready to impress your dinner guests with these mid-century modern melted-butter warmers! Each ceramic set is made of two pieces -- the bottom bowl holds hot water to warm the butter in the top bowl. These butter warmers, which were made in Japan, were the thing to have in the 1950s and 1960s for lobster dinners. All three sets were found in Maine, where they know how to serve lobster.
Even if you don\'t plan to serve lobsters, these charming butter sets will look great on display, especially with other marine life pieces.Each set has a tiny rim chip; see pic 8 and the last pic. Each set has some differences, but both measure about 5 inches long to the end of the lobster tail handle and about 2.5 inches tall.
