During the 40\'s the country changed it\'s name (twice, actually) which is why we see things marked as both Siam and Thailand.Six of these spoons say SIAM and the other 6 say THAILAND. In all other aspects, they are the same.
My father was stationed there in 1950ish. It was the best time of his life.
