This deal is for a very handsome, chic, Set, an Art Deco RARE vintage 1936 Clear Lucite Ashtray with Metal Grid (for knocking off ash) with 'Clearfloat' Seahorse and shells suspended inside, and a matching cigarette holder box, with lid also with seahorse and seashell inclusions.
There is a stamp on the underside lip of the metal grid of the ashtray that says, "U.S. Pat. Aug 1936."
Evans Clearfloat Lucite and Metal Ashtray:Seahorse and seashells are suspended in the front of this ashtray. There Lucite Ashtray with Metal Grid is in great condition, with scratches on the bottom. The metal reservoir is NOT removable, but the top metal grid is removable for cleaning. This metal area is probably chrome, has a very nice shine and is in great condition. See pics.

Evans Clearfloat Lucite Cigarette Holder Box:Seahorse and seashells are suspended in the lucite of the lid. This lid is cloudy, and has a spiderweb look to the lucite. The lid is hinged in the two chunky side pieces. Except for the Seahorse and Shell inclusions, this whole box is made of clear lucite (but remember the lid has the shells, and is cloudy.) There are 4 little clear half moon knobs on the bottom that serve as feet for your desk, shelf, or table. We are not certain of the date on the Cigarette Holder Box, as there are no markings. We have decided it is Evans based on research of other items found similar online. [We found a lighter with the similar clearfloat seahorse design.]
