Purchase this beautiful original set of two 720 Glass Fireballs from 720 Glassworks’ Meteors, Comets, and Shooting Stars Collection.

These special candle votives emulate the most primal of elements reflecting the artists\' passions and the fire of imagination. Votives hold standard tealight candles (included).

The \"Fireball Votives\" are blown and sculpted from flameworked borosilicate glass and are fumed with 24 carat gold on the glass. Borosilicate is heat resistant and will not break from a candle flame. However, an LED tealight is recommended. Never use a tea light that has a plastic bottom, as the plastic may catch fire. Scented candles have oils that may cause soot to gather on the glass and should not be used. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

720 Glassworks is the loving collaboration of husband and wife glass artists, James and Andrea Stanford. A chance meeting while each exhibiting at an art festival in 2011 yeah sparked a compelling conversation as well as a mutual respect for one of others, unusual style and vision for glass creation.

Within two months, they formed a partnership combining for over 20 years of class experience, sharing their different approaches and expanding one another’s ideas in 2013 exchange vowels and now work hard to keep up with the high demand on their handmade glass pieces enjoyed in galleries internationally.

Artist statement: in our work, we use many techniques to arouse specific feelings, texture, shape, and color, awaken, hunger and desires, suggestive form provides a framework for what we are trying to say, leaving, curious, gaps and engaging viewers to connect with our own imagination, we use etching to soften pieces and strong colors to harden others, while gold and silver fuming are utilized to capture light, and to reflect changing light.

In many cases, we leave delicate transitions that dare the fragility of the piece evoking the intimate nature of humanity, developing longing for contact and humbly asking to be touched. A mirror to the relationship experience.
