Offered here is a vintage 1970s Yves Saint Laurent 2-pc towel set which was given to my family as a house-warming gift in 1972. The includes a bath towel and a hand towel and both have never been used. They have been washed and are just as new and soft and fluffy as you would expect. 100% cotton white horizontal pile background with three 2\" stripes down the center of each, two lime green with a blue sky stripe between. Perfect fringe on the bottom of each. Heavy gray YSL embroidered insignia on the bottom corner of each. \'Designed by Yves Sant Laurent, woven by Fieldcrest\' tag in mint condition on each towel. Made in USA.
Bath towel measures 44\" by 25\". Hand towel measures 25\" by 16\". Both are in new clean condition and scent free. The bath towel has a few extremely small dots on the back which can\'t be seen on the front (see photo). Both in excellent structural condition with no snags or other issues. Fluffy, white, vibrant, as new!YSL, Yves Saint Laurent towels were made at the Fieldcrest Mills in 1969. Our family built a house on our farm in 1971, moved into it in \'72, and received these has a gift. My Mom has had them tucked away in her linen closet ever since (goodness, they did not match the bathroom at the time!) and they were never used. With a simple wash and dry, they are ready to be enjoyed!
