I have for sale this series of 4 Royal Doulton England \"The Wind in the Willows\" collector plates made between 1984 and 1987. This series was produced depicting various scenes reflecting paintings and signed by Christina Thwaites. The 4 plates are named,- Badger\'s House,
- Rambling in the Wild Wood,
- Preparations for the Boating Season, and
- Ratty and the Mole Go Boating
The plates are trimmed with scrollwork and measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter. Each plate has an excerpt from the story book by the author Kenneth Grahame. The plates are in excellent, as new condition and have only ever been on display in a cabinet. you will find no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or utensil marks on any one of them.
