Scarce Antique American Pewter Teapot, Daniel Curtiss, Albany, N.Y., c. 1822 - 1840. This elegant squat teapot is a very fine example of American pewter in exceptional condition. The teapot has a strong impressed mark on the inside bottom of the teapot. It is "D. CURTISS", banner mark. Daniel Curtiss worked out of Albany, N.Y.. from 1822-1840. This mark is listed in "Guide To American Pewter" by Carl Jacobs where a teapot with this mark was listed as scarce even back in 1957. This teapot is in like new condition with a well polished patina.Fine American Pewter Teapot by a fine maker offered here with and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The tea pot is 7 7/8" H. x 4 7/8" W. x 10 1/8" L. from the tipof the spout to the back of the handle.
