This is a decorative collector's plate featuring a beautiful painting of Jesus that is believed to be from the 1970s. The artwork itself is signed, but I cannot make out the first initials, only what looks like "Connett" as the artist's last name. The plate itself isbackstamped by Sanders Manufacturing Co. of Nashville, TN. A First Edition, it is trimmed in 23K gold. It measures approximately 9.25" in diameter and stands approximately .75" high. The plate itself is likely ironstone and has scalloped edges with information stamped on the bottom. Condition-wise, it has some discoloration and residue on the backside/bottom, along with one teeny-tiny chip along the back rim, and two raised bumps on the bottom. The front of the plate is covered in "crazing," and has a few very minor flaws with the most obvious being that there is some loss of the gold and a line of discoloration on Jesus' forehead.
