This is an amazing Genuine Victorian Chenille Table cloth dating to late 19th - early 20th Century.
It is in exceptional condition given its age and use. I have used it as a throw on a small antique sofa. In my ownership it hasn\'t been either walked across or sat on!
The cat illustrations are what sets it apart from other rare survivors! Super colour mix of reds, browns, black, white and splash of mustard. Delightful cat illustrations x
The lavish fringed edge is full and even and in very good condition.
It smells fresh and clean. No unpleasant musty whiffs here. It has been very carefully preserved and well looked after. It has the odd ever so slight crease and one little velvet crush but nothing of note.
The back does show some pulls and threads and the reminant of a tiny old label.
Approx 54 x54 ins Square which includes the fringe.
I wrap thoughtfully and carefully (boxed to protect) using recycled materials.
