This stunning wood carving by the talented Swedish/Canadian artist Carl Johan Trygg, was created in 1928.

The piece depicts a Bearded Fisherman and is intricately carved with incredible details that trigger unbelievable emotion, both in his facial expressions and posture alone. Check out the eyes, the smile, with just a nuance of controlled carvings.

Approximate Measurements: 8.75”h

The rich brown color of the wood adds to the overall appeal of the sculpture. This vintage piece was created in Canada in 1928. And you will find that TRYGG has quite a large following of collectors.
