Vibrant vintage Simtex 1950s era Green & yellow floral tablecloth 53 x 66 inches which is in excellent condition with no stains, tears, fading or undue wear - has been well cared for. Note: in some of the photos it looks as if there is a dark area in center of cloth - that is a shadow from the chandelier over the table! This tablecloth has been freshly laundered, starched and ironed and is ready to use. It is a heavy cotton fabric with a vibrant green and yellow screen print rose design edged with scalloped bright green border and bright green scalloped block in center. This is typical of the bright designs of the late 1940s and 1950s. Simtex Mills was known for their high quality tablecloths and napkins. This particular tablecloth is perfect for spring and summer and is machine washable. I don\'t put vintage tablecloths in the dryer - I prefer to hang to dry and then iron or fold. I think the colors stay brighter if they are line dried. This tablecloth is vividly colored with no fading and in extremely good condition. I wash and iron my tablecloths very carefully to keep them almost pristine.
