Evening folks. Welcome to Brook & Boulder. We collect and sell only what we have a passion for. I particularly, have been collecting pipes for almost a decade. To steal a quote made by Julian 'Stinky' Emery a character from a Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce classic Dressed to Kill, ''I'm a collector you know, and a collector buys but never sells''. Well... deep cut quote or not, I'm sellin. Some of the pipes you see listed are from my private collection and others I have simply purchased in passing. My pipes are ready to smoke once you receive them.
A bit about this pipe: Having been a student in the late1950s at the Mengaroni School Of Art, Giancarlo Guidi furthered his educationin the workshops of Moretti and Raganella in the 1960s and early 70s. He, alongwith Alberto Montini opened Mastro De Paja in 1972. During these years heworked along side Bruto Sordini who later founded Don Carlos. In 1982 Giancarlobegan a new endeavor and founded yet another workshop, Ser Jacopo. Many greatcraftsman cut there teeth in this shop and later began brands suchas, Il Ceppo,L'Anatra, Le Nuvole and Rinaldo.Giancarlo Guid's appreciation for the arts has shaped this company andthe pipes it has created over the decades. The Picta collection launched in1998 was specifically dedicated to Giancarlo's favorite painters. Ser Jacopo isone of the most well known and sought after brands in the pipe community and nowonder why.
