This made in Japan set is near mint or better with no damage and very minor mold imperfections. The heights listed above are without the lids on.These are not a smooth type of ceramic but have a minor textured feel. The colors are bright and vivid and stunning in the hand. I will use lots of bubble wrap and a sturdy box but damage does happen so the package will be fully insured.
