About Me:

I have been attending SDCC for over25 years starting back when I was in college in the late 90s. I am not a business, and thus attending theconvention is something I do for fun, as a hobby, and in order to add to my owncollection, but because it is a very expensive show to attend about 15 yearsago I also began picking up extra items and exclusives to sell on in orderto make attending the show and picking up exclusives for myself a little bitmore affordable. With my 25 years ofexperience at SDCC I have an excellent long and successful track record forboth obtaining these extremely hard to get SDCC items as well as getting themto their buyers (I have a 100% track record here on going back over 2decades). But again, this is not my job and in no way is this something I do asa means to make a living. I am simply afellow collector and this is something I have been doing as a hobby for manymany years with the sole purpose of just reducing some of my own costs so I canbetter afford picking up a few of these exclusives to keep for myself.

FAQ:

In order to make things runsmoothly I’ll try to address as many potential questions as possiblebelow. Please read before asking, but ifyou still have questions afterwards feel free to contact me with your questions. J

Payments:

Prior to placing your offers orcommitting to Buy It Now please make sure that you in fact do want and are ableto pay for the item. Despite what somepeople believe sellers still have to pay listing fees, special duration fees,etc. even when the buyer chooses not topay or requests a cancellation (the only fees that are refundable to the sellerwhen this happens is the listing fees—but the other fees keeps regardless whichmeans as a seller I end up losing money for all non-payments or cancellations). As a result I can no longer acceptcancellations for purchases, and as a seller I do not have the ability tocancel your offers (only you have that ability), so please be aware of thisbefore you offer and please pay for your purchase in a timely manner.

Due to the time sensitive natureof these SDCC exclusives and the fact that they are only available to purchase/pickupduring the limited time of the event all payments for purchases and closingsales are required to be paid within 24 hours of closing. If for some reason you cannot pay within 24hours you should contact me immediately, but please note that failure to paywithin 24 hours during Comic Con could lead to the unpaid for item beingoffered to another collector. Forinternational buyers you may experience a slight delay in being able to pay dueto the fact that you’ll need to wait for an invoice from that includes theinternational shipping. Not to worry. Typically that invoice shows up relativelyquickly after your commitment to purchase so there should still be plenty oftime to receive that invoice and pay within the 24 hour window. If there are any issues that will prevent the24 hour payment please let me know.

For most Domestic Orders I offerfree economy class shipping. This meansI will automatically ship the item for free via which ever shipping means isthe cheapest based on the size/weight of your package and your location. Some time this means shipping FedEx smartpost. FedEx Smart Post does not ship toP.O. boxes and thus requires that you provide an actual address for deliveryand not a P.O. Box number. So this is arequirement when placing the order.

For International Orders:

I ship internationally using’s Global shipping program. This isthe only means of international shipping offered. If you are living in a country thatqualifies for the Global Shipping program I believe you should see theirquote for your shipping and import costs with the listing but I personally amnot privy to this information nor do I have any control over it thus I amunable to provide you with a quote on shipping to your specific country. With ’s Global Shipping program the costyou pay for the international shipping goes directly to ’s global shippingprovider. I do not see or receive thismoney, nor can I even tell you how much money it is.

Shipping timeline:

SDCC takes place from July 24thto July 28nd. Some selectitems might ship during the convention in order to make room in the van, butthe majority of orders placed won’t ship until after SDCC has concluded. Once SDCC is over I typically have 100s oforders to fulfill thus will be hard at work over the next few days making sureall of the items are well packaged and shipped quickly. I have a system where I can typically workfairly quickly getting items out, but as said above, I am not a business, andam just one person working alone to get these items carefully packaged andshipped thus it may take me a couple of days to ship out everything. As items ship I will also be working to getthe tracking information uploaded to the website for you. Please be patient and give it a few daysbefore contacting me to ask “has my item shipped?/when will my item ship?”etc. Rest assured I am doing everythingI can to get your item out to you as safely and quickly as possible but everyyear literally the day after Comic Con has ended I receive a hundred messagesasking when/if the item has shipped and while I fully appreciate the excitementand anxiousness of wanting an update if I stop to answer all 100 of thosemessages it will take me hours to respond which is time I should be using toship out these items. So please wait atleast a few days after the convention before asking for an update. This will help me get the items to you morequickly.

SDCC is an incredibly funexperience, but it is also very intense and non-stop. Lines are long, events and activities arenon-stop/24 hours a day, getting all these exclusives in hand can be a lot ofwork/take focus and as a result on these days there can be very few moments tostop and respond to individual messages.As a result once the convention starts there may be a delay to me beingable to respond to an question. I do the best I can and if you have animportant question then please ask and I’ll do my best to respond but just knowthat during the show there isn’t much time or bandwidth so check the listingdetails first because odds are the question is answered there. Likewise the week after the show as mentionedabove is very busy and hectic as I’m packing up and shipping out hundreds ofitems—thus again there could be a delay in response time during thisperiod.
