This is an older Schrade Walden knife, late 1940’s to early1950’s. The tang stamp is SCHRADE WALDEN NY (no USA). STAINLESSSTEEL 709S on back tang. Pattern # 709S with bail or shackle. 3-1/16” closed (plus bail) “Senator Penknife” pattern. Strong snap on both blade and file, no wobble. Patterned metal handles have very light handling rubs. A mint knife – never used, carried, or sharpened, originalfactory finish and edges. GIBBS CORPORATION etched on the spear blade.
