SCARCE Arenholz Snake Basket Original In Working Order!
This is the snake basket that started it all a century ago! It made comedy magician Russell Swann famous and was used by many others over the years.
Arenholz worked for the phone company and some of the \"parts\" allegedly came from his work!This is the second of two that was used by my late friend and mentor, Eddie Diijon. He brought the house down with this trick!
Brilliant in design, it uses a virtually silent Gramaphone motor to \"drive\" the mechanism. The snake is \"programmed\" to rise and fall via a very simple but ingenious thread system.
While the mechanics are in the table, it allows for the magician to freely bring out the basket and place on the table making it more deceptive in it\'s working. (But let\'s talk serious... this is meant as a comedy piece).You get everything pictured except the photo of Diijon. There is no table base included, but any table base such as a P&L (hollow tube) will work.
For those asking: I have no place to display it and it isn\'t something that I would do in my show. It needs a great home for someone to display or a smart magician to USE. It has much life remaining in it.. FREE SHIPPING CONUS.
