Book signed: “2011/Sarah” in green felt tip. 6¼x9½. 319 pages. Finding Sarah: a Duchess\'s Journey to Find Herself, by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. New York: Random House, 2011. Hardcover with dust jacket. After marrying Queen Elizabeth\'s second son, Prince Andrew, on July 23, 1986, the Duchess of York had two children, Beatrice (born in 1988) and Eugenie (born in 1990). Although popular with the press at first, she was later criticized for her clothes, personality and weight (some called her the "Duchess of Pork"). With Andrew away in the Navy, the couple saw each other only 42 days a year and drifted apart. They separated in 1992, following headlines of Fergie\'s affair with American businessman Steve Wyatt, and divorced in 1996. Saying in her autobiography that she was never cut out for royalty, the irrepressible former Duchess has found success as an author and television personality, and appears as a spokesperson for Wedgewood, Weight Watchers and Charles S. Schwab. Finding Sarah is derived from an 8-part British TV special broadcast in 2011. Fine condition.
