Scarce early original vintage gelatin silver photograph shows a formal portrait of probably an important San Francisco political figure. Photograph was taken by famous San Fransisco photographer i. W. TABER who was known for photographing the rich and famous of San Francisco.Embossed signature at bottom reads, “Taber - 121 POST ST. - SAN FRANCISCO”.This is a vintage photograph and not a copy or reproduction. Photograph measures 4 x 5 1/2 inches and is mounted on an embossed 7 x 8 1/2 inch light gray matte board. Photograph is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
