Russian from Soviet era original Parade shashka in excellent condition. I had several those shashkas and took a few handles apart. They had control marks and sometimes year of manufacturing on tang. They manufactured in 1950s. Theblade is in mint condition. The spot on the cap piece is from maskin tape and easy can be cleaned with aceton. The tangis with several control and quality markings Thewooden scabbard covered with canvas and lacquer. I place maskin tape around the ring to prevent damage to the scabbard. Please check my sales, I have theoriginal white sword knot (portepee)for this type of the sword. The totallength is about 39 inches; the blade only is almost 32 inches. (44)
