Stunning Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Nicholas (Nikolas) II (1894-1917), service plate from the Gatchina Palace Service, c. 1913. Pattern features a variant coat of arms frequently used in the period of Alexander I (1801-1825), with the hand-painted Imperial double-headed eagle with downturned wings & the shield of St. George on its chest and with a laurel wreath & torch held in its talons. Measures 9 ¼” diameter and is in Excellent antique condition free of nicks, fleabites or scratching, little wear to the gilt rim. A fine addition to any home or collection!
