Medal \"In memory of the consecration of St. Isaac\'s Cathedral\", established in 1858. Architects, artists, craftsmen, suppliers, contractors, members and officials of the commission for the construction of the cathedral, as well as officials of the ministry of the imperial court who took part in the construction, decoration and consecration of St. Isaac\'s Cathedral were awarded.

In 1858, the St. Petersburg Mint minted 86 gold and 100 silver medals.

Size 33 mm. Medals were made of gold and silver. The chief architect O.Montferrand, as well as some of the highest ranks of the ministry of the imperial court, received gold medals adorned with diamonds to be worn in the buttonhole on the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called.
