Dating to the 1930’s, this exceptional pair of butterscotch bakelite and walnut lamps exemplifies the uniquely American modernist spirit of the period and are evocative of designs by Russell Wright. The tapered solid walnut central component is handsomely juxtaposed by butterscotch bakelite discs interspersed with brass balls. Whether placed in a living room, dining room, entry way or elsewhere, these lamps will certainly draw an envious eye.
These lamps have been restored and refurbished and are in excellent working order. The well marbled butterscotch bakelite discs have been cleaned and polished. Brass fittings have been machine polished. The solid walnut components have been cleaned and finish restorer applied.* The original turn knob switched socket interiors have been retained and bulb contacts cleaned and polished. Power cords have been refurbished with reproduction rayon covered cord and appointed with appointed with new vintage style plugs. These lamps accept a standard medium Edison base light bulb.
