Vintage Selangor Pewter Dragon Wall Plaque Collectible Wall Hanging Framed 1980s.

Very Detailed Pewter craftsmanship collectible wall plaque with tropical hardwood. This plaque is called The Dragon. Made in Malaysia.

Printed: "Royal Selangor" in silver on the back. A high quality vintage Selangor Pewter plaque.

Handcrafted 97% in tin and framed in tropical hardwood,.

Here is dedicated the dragon (symbolic of benevolence, wisdom, and shrewdness).

The plaque is part of a set of 7 pewter plaques issued by Selangor Pewter in the 1980s. As per the original box (not included in this listing): 'Chinese symbolism and mythology provides the inspiration for the series entitled Divine Creatures Collection. Each Plaque is handcrafted from 97% tin, elegantly framed in tropical hardwood. The 4 divine creatures depicted are the Dragon (symbolic of benevolence, wisdom and shrewdness), Also Phoenix, Kirin and the Tortoise. The other 3 plaques are individual Chinese characters - Fu meaning Happiness, Lu meaning Prosperity and Shou meaning Longevity. ' Collect them all.

Measures:

14 cm (5.5") x 14 cm (5.5").

Very Good condition with the exception of one slight dent in upper left above dragons head. Wood frame has a scratch in upper left corner and bottom border.
