Up for offer or buy is an old Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine of a Desert Fox.It is number 1327 by the artist Christian Thomsen.The back stamp and painter\'s number (149) date the fox to between 1910-1925, per Pope\'s guide.Unfortunately this guy has had a rough time with its right ear - as seen in the photos it appears to have been damaged and repaired, but not very well. The color match is poor and there seem to be blisters/ holes where the repair material used did not adhere properly.The fox is lovely in all other respects and a professional restoration would bring it back to a beautiful piece. This was my intention when I purchased it several years ago but never got around to it, so perhaps someone else would like to take it on.
it measures 5.5 in long by 5 in wide at the base, and about 9 in tall. Please review all photos as they serve as part of the description.
