Offering a signed presentation card (4-1/4 x 2-3/4") by noted magazine illustrator Robert W. Crowther (Pennsylvania, 1902-1978).
Crowther was known for cover illustrations for Cosmopolitan, McCall's, Saturday Evening Post, and Country Gentleman.
Text: "To Shirley C. Doyle / I'm afraid this is not very prompt but better late than never? / Robert W. Crowther."
Likely signed in the 1930s. Ms. Shirley apparently collected illustrator autographs, as we've seen three related ones.
Very good condition, likely dates back to the 1930s. Normal toning for old paper. Back shows signs of having been removed from a photo album with black pages. Please see scan for details.
