This is part of my personal collection of over 2500 aviation autographs dating from the very earliest days of aviation. The collection includes many, many air mail pilots, record holders, aviation personalities, military/naval aviators from 1914 through Vietnam, etc. I’ll also be including about 1000 autographs from a group my mother and father collected during the late twenties, thirties and just before WWII. All are in excellent condition unless otherwise noted and all are authentic.

Most items will be mailed by First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. BOOKS will be mailed by Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Larger items will be mailed by appropriate USPS mailing. Tracking numbers are available on all shipments

Photos, autographs and some small books and magazines are weatherproofed and mailed in heavily reinforced 9 X 14 padded envelopes by First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Books are carefully protected and mailed by Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

I guarantee all the items in my collection to be authentic. I will pay the return postage on any item that is found not to be authentic. If you decide you want to return the item for any other reason I\'ll be happy to accept the return but must deduct my listing and final valuation costs. All returns must of course be in the condition in which they were mailed.

I acquired most of my 4000+ vintage aviation photosin the early 1970sfrom an aviation author and retired USMC Col. All ofmy photographs are original photographic images. None are digital reproductions. Most are from aircraft manufacturers, airlines or the U. S. Navy, U. S. Army Air Forces, etc. They mostlyrange from the1920s through the 1950s. The rest come from various sources. I do not make or sell copies of photographs. In many cases photos are accompanied by the original press release. On those photos to which the press release was taped or glued to the reverse I carefully removed them to keep the photos from being damaged by the high-sulphur content paper. These releases are either taped to the archival sleeve that holds the photo or accompany the photo. These photographs (and the aviation autographs and books I\'m selling are my personal collection amassed over more than forty years of collecting that I\'m selling in retirement. I am not in the business of buying and selling these items.

My apologies: After almost five years I\'m forced to raise or charge for postage because of the current cost of both postage and the materials I use for safe packaging, like bubble-lined envelopes and heavy corrugated. All photos and autographs are mailed packed with heavy board to discourage folding or bending, wrapped in mylar wrap, packaged in bubble-wrap lined Kraft mailers and include a packing slip.

I HOPE THIS HELPS: For the next SIXTY DAYS I\'ll refund 10% of the purchase price on any order of five or more fixed price or sale items or a combination thereof. Additionally, I\'ll combine orders to assure the lowest rates. In the case of photos or autographs that can be combined in the same package you will pay only the P&H charge for one item. The balance will be refunded to your PayPal account. I will combine book orders as well and immediately refund amounts over my cost. Please note that some books are very heavy and will require additional postage; other books -those less than 13 ounces - will be mailed by First Class Mail and any overage refunded.

I\'ve attempted to remove the FREE from my items but if an item you purchase at fixed price or sale still says free I will, of course, honor that shipping.
