This is a counter top display stand used by Texaco service stations in 1989 to display the 1925 Texaco Mack Bulldog Truck which was #6 in their series. Please note: The bank shown in the second photo and the box shown in the third photo are for information only. This listing is for the cardboard display stand only.
If you are a proud Texaco Bank collector then you can separate your displays from all others because they truly are rare today. I try not to use grading terms without context; so, I\'ve included a grading scale I have used for years to establish a condition for diecast models, boxes, andaccessories. I would say thisdisplay would grade at a C8.0+. The display has a few issues but has nice eye appeal.
The condition is Extremely Good for a piece of cardboard that\'s 34 years old (Please see the photo). It probably was off white when new and now it is faded somewhat, however the graphics still look pretty nice. Again, please see the photo as they show the level of discoloration, some slight staining, and minor creases on the top of the stand on the right and another on the left. The back is straight; however, there is a crease the width of the back right at the bottom of 1925, which shows in the photo.
This item will be protected with padding and come to you broken down and flat so we canship it in a flat padded envelope.
