We are pleased to offer this vintage carved resin figure of Shouxing, the God of Longevity. Attached to the end of his staff is a gourd, said to hold the elixir of life, or immortality. Sau or Shouxing is usually depicted holding a peach, the divine fruit of the gods. He is highly detailed in the Netsuke style, although he is a high quality reproduction made of resin that appears to be signed on the bottom.This vintage resin carved figure is solid and very nicely made.
