Bad condition Non-Stopped Fuller Model 1850 Civil War Sword No Scabbard. Was told Battlefield (didn\'t say what battlefield) found stuck in ground. Shortened to 25\" and probably cleaned. Rust and pitting in area that was in ground. Could be a Sauerbier that has a small ridge near end of fuller (which Sauerbier did to his swords). But does not have all his traits. Blade Cleaned? Ray skin still attached to sword handle but not around handle all the way. Iam sure I forgot something so ask question first before offerding.These Early swords are not perfect, they may have been painted. taken apart, lost handle wrap or wire, cracked or pieces of handle missing, chrome or nickel plated. rusty, pitted, sharpened, may have been in fire, bent, scratched, battle scars, soldered, abused and what ever happened in their 170 years plus years existence.
